The rowing resistance is provided by water which is held in a clear container where you can actually look inside the water container as you row and see the water.
An action like a water wheel inside the water container provides the resistance to your rowing, it feels natural and there is no mechanical jerkiness which can result in rowing strains or injuries.
Its very interesting to watch the water moving whilst you row, it feels so natural and environmentally sound, the rowing machine is made of natural rosewood a very strong wood that makes this rowing machine commercial gym grade.
